I am using Webshield for our school district. Tech support for Webshield did not know how to work with Imail so I consulted the Imail Knowledge base for information about how to change the SMTP port that Imail listens to. Webshield will take port 25 leaving Imail hanging. You have to set up a port for Imail in Webshield then add the registry key for Imail to use that port.

I believe that the manual for Webshield also specifies that you have to have correct version of Java Runtime Environment. (JRE 1.1.8 )

If you want more specifics you can contact me off the list.

It has worked very well since installing. It does add some more processor usage so keep that in mind.
