If a message gets flagged as a dirty IP it means the message came from a suspicious IP. That IP has attempted to send messages to some invalid address (non published) which indicate the machine could have been recently used to send spam. You should not delete messages marked dirty IP as they are just suspicious and not necessarily spam.

Thanks. In other words, it's pretty much useless to me because of false
positives. Does anyone else use this feature and if so, do find that you get a lot of false positives? I am finding that they have a lot of Time Warner's servers on the list and unfortunately a lot of our customers use Time Warner
and I can't afford to lose emails from them.

Thanks!

Dirty IP is an IP Reputation System. It based on spam traffic patterns from IP addresses or ranges (not sure which). IMail has no control over the dirty IP. This is determined by Mail Filters (the people who made, and manage the
data backend for, the premium anti-spam).

This is making me insane! Can someone please explain exactly how a "Dirty
IP" is determined. We have many emails that are legitimate that are being
flagged as a dirty IP and I would like to know why they are so I can let the
people know. Is this from a blacklist somewhere or does Imail determine it
is dirty from some sort of action that the IP performed?

Thanks!
