We upgraded to 9.23 recently (from 8.22) and our webmail address book
didn't convert properly. We ran the wgscvt utility and since we are
using Softalk's WorkgroupShare (not through Ipswitch - we bought
Softalk's product before Ipswitch provided collaboration software) we
also had to convert the standard Access database to a SQL database (see
http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/IM-20070802-KF01.htm). I talked with
Nick at Ipswitch support and he thought that if we ran the wgscvt
conversion and then converted the Access db to SQL Server, we should be
good to go. But it didn't work. Called support again and this time
someone else said that there's nothing else we can try.
Has anyone dealt with this problem before? Running Softalk's product
via SQL and converting / importing old contacts to the newest version of
Imail?
