Hi Todd, We use a 20MB max message size for all domains. We've seen end-user trouble with much higher than that, so we set it high enough to accommodate all except the largest files, and low enough to help users avoid problems.
The script we use to set up new domains then populates this for us. You could use a registry script to update all domains at once, but I don't believe there is a global maximum. While it may or may not have had any effect on the server itself, it was being sent to ME - so my Outlook hung while it was trying to download (I actually logged into the server about half way through - after I realized what he did - and killed it). I'm not sure if there is a default max size, and if so what it might be. Can this be edited - globally? What is the "norm" for the maximum attachment size that people are allowing? Thanks for your thoughts!
