Agreed; For IMail it depends on where the message was initiated. A message coming in from outside would be rejected by SMTPD if the mailbox is full. If a message is generated internally on the mail server by a automated process, it would bounce.

There is a big difference between these two. Accepting and then bouncing makes you a source of backscatter. Rejecting it while the sending MTA is still on the line means its their responsibility to do something with it. -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] "The avalanche has already started, it is too Rod Dorman late for the pebbles to vote." - Ambassador Kosh To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/ To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
