Hello, we have a problem on our Imail 8 Servers. Some (!) mails will get an invalid "From", somewhere between receiving and writing it to the main.mbx file.
Everything is ok, but the very first from is modified, instead of <blablubb@ ....> it will be <! [EMAIL PROTECTED]> (a ! and a space instead of the first two characters) Later in the header, everything will be ok. The IMail Webclient will not display these Mails because of the invalid header, Outlook Express downloads the mail and it's gone (or will be not displayed) ------ >From <! [EMAIL PROTECTED]> Mon Feb 25 15:43:44 2008 [...] Date: Mon, 25 Feb 2008 15:41:27 +0100 (CET) From: Bestellformular <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] [...] X-Note: Sent from [EMAIL PROTECTED] ----------- This happens for external mail, internal lists, domain to domain mails on the server, mails between the two servers and so on. It is not limited to the server, the domain, the recipient , the sender or anything else I found. It happens on both servers, and both with junk and ham mail. So the first mail from kai.xxxx will be delivered with <! i.xxxx, the next with <Kai.xxxx We use IMail 8.22, Declude 4.3.59 Does anyone have a idea?
