Hi all, I'm having some trouble with adduser.exe. I have an ISAPI extension (a CGI) that calls adduser.exe periodically to add users to the IMail DB. Under IIS4 on NT4 this worked just fine, but I can't get it to work under IIS5 on W2K. the adduser.exe program *is* run, but it returns an error to me (something like, "could not add user to..."). If I run it at the command prompt with the same command-line parameters, it works just fine. I assume this is a permissions problem... But I've even given the IUSR_... user (the user that the web server is executed under) Administrators rights just as a test and it hasn't helped... Any ideas what might cause adduser.exe to fail?
