I know many of you have run into this situation and solved it. I'd
like to know what you feel worked best.
We have our imail machine set to only relay for "local users". We
now have a customer with an application that "emails" from their
website TO and FROM individuals of choice.
The problem is if I go and send a msg TO [EMAIL PROTECTED] FROM
[EMAIL PROTECTED] the message will never get delivered where we do
not host XYZ.COM or 123.COM because imail does exactly what is
should and not deliver. Restricting to IP's is not an option at this
time, so my questions are:
1) Is there a way that I'm not aware of to allow this in imail while
not relaying. I'm betting the answer is no...
2) Will I need to setup an additional mailserver to accomplish this?
Then allow relaying from only the webserver IP?
3) If #2 is "yes" then what do you recommend since imail would be
tremendous overkill for this need.
