If you're using access or sql you don't need to backup the registry? Do you
need to stop any services? 

We'll probably use Backup Exec...

Backing up Imail is fairly simply.  You should use the Backup Registry
option from within the Administrator to create a file copy of user
information (for the Imail dbase option).  Then simply backup the \Imail
directory and all subs - including the User folders.
