Hi Faizal,
I had it on Oracle via ODBC and the tables did not get created automatically
for me either.
I had to run a series of scripts to manually create the table.
The structure is fairly simple - just look at the access structure and
create the same (maybe slightly diff. data types in sql server) in SQL
Server.
Also, I think SQL server has an upgrade tool? (Upgrade an acess database to
an sql instance?)

Follow the manual for configuration of IMail, but also consult the
KnowledgeBase as it has more about SQL usage (the DSN line is probably not
correct!). I'd search for 'ODBC'.

I have selected the external database for imail....and i'm choosing the
odbc....which is connected to sql 7.0....but when i click apply.....the
table is not created....but when i'm using access database....it will

can Imail Server use SQL Server 7.0 as an external database.......????
