This is very easy to do if you can assign the MDaemon server a static IP.
It can also be done with a dynamic IP, but I'm not sure of the procedure.
1. In c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts, add an entry for the recipient's
mail server as;
235.12.34.56 mail.theirdomain.com
2. DO NOT add the domain to IMail
3. In the domain's DNS records, set their server as primary MX for the
domain, and your IMail server as secondary MX
4. Stop/restart IMail
5. Set the MDaemon server to log on and send IMail an ETRN request
periodically. I believe the request would be in the form of "ETRN
theirdomain.com". You'll want the request frequency to be shorter than
IMail's queue settings for returning undeliverable mail.
6. Sit back and have a cold one...you're done.
