Have you stop-started web messaging service??? This always fixes my login
error problem...

Did that, I can look at the database and see the users in there but when I
try to login from the webmaseaging side it keeps saying user not found or

After setting up the ODBC connection, use the IMail external db setting and
configure it using the standard dll file. Set the datasource to
datasource_name;UID=username;PWD=password
