[IMail Forum] Passwords

I've searched IPSwitches support site for this, but found nothing.

Can Imail support encrypted passwords?  If so, is there any special
configurations that need to be done?  Will it work transparently with other
passwords in plain text?

We are importing about 5000 users from a Unix system, and have no efficient
way to recover passwords.
