Yes.  You can always check this by looking at the actual directories and 
verifying that the expected user directories exist.

What database backend are you using?  In the External Database setup screen, 
you may need to pass UID and PWD to the ODBC driver:

DSN_NAME;UID=sa;PWD=password;DB=bbones_net

The DB= is neccessary for MSSQL server.  I seem to recall that this fixed my 
login problems.
