Does anyone know how to increase the 1024 character limit on AutoResponder
messages from within IMail's user account area. I've modified the MAIN.INF
file that is written when an normal AutoResponder message is created by the
user and replaced it with one of a longer length at the directory level and
it works fine. However, when you view the longer file from the user's area
you only see the first 1024 characters. Since the application seems to
handles AutoResponder messages of any length (if manually created and placed
in the user's home directory) with no problems, this seems to be an
arbitrary, and unnecessary, limitation of the program itself. Our user's
administer their own lists and several need AutoResponse messages longer
than 1024. They also modify them frequently, so having the IT staff do it
for them is not something we want to have to do. The version we're using is
5.08 which works just fine otherwise.
