Ben,

Sorry but I don't have a clear answer on this one but I wanted to respond to
say that I'm having the same exact problem. The only difference with me is
that I'm having problems with non-AOL accounts as well. I hope I do get an
answer for this soon myself.

I asked this question before, but didn't get any response. I know someone
out there knows the answer, so I thought I'd try again. My original message
is quoted below, but the gist is this: when does case matter in email
addressing, and does it ever matter when the address is for an AOL account?

I have a mail box setup on our IMail (4.07) system to forward to an AOL
account. In the past, I've never worried about case-sensitive address, but
this mailbox seems to have trouble unless we watch the case. That is, we
have to set the forwarding address with mixed case or the mail will get
 rejected..

I am aware that some Unix systems can be sensitive about case in mail
address, but I didn't think AOL fell into that cateogory. In fact, I've
had
a personal AOL account for many years, and have never had trouble with
people
writing to me in all lower case.

Is it possible that the problem is not case, but something else is going
on?

I know that AOL's mail system (like everything else they do) is pretty
funky.
Attached below is a mail reject notice.
