I was going in through the wrong port number. Thanks for your time and advice! The other areas to look at are DNS (have you created a record for "imail" in your domain?) and Firewall (have you opened up ports 8383?) The default way to access you machine would be http://imail.test.com:8383 unless you have changed the web messaging port through the Administrator app. ----- Original Message ----- From: Stredler, Andrew - DSS/Corporate <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, March 22, 2000 9:35 AM Subject: [IMail Forum] Web Messaging Inbox Hello, I am setting up an Imail Server (Evaluation Version 6.0.2.365) on an NT Server running Service Pack 6. When I enter the URL to access my mailbox via the web (or anyones mailbox for that matter) it sends me the Resource Monitor. I can log on and change all types of directory information (forwarding pointer, password, user info, etc...) but no mail. I have looked at the templates in the manual and it seems that all of the buttons on the left hand side do not appear. I just get the services and their status (I know where this is configured). My machine name is IMAIL and the domain it is in is TEST. The host name defined in IMAIL is imail.test.com. When I try to go to the following URL: http://imail.test.com I receive an error stating that it cannot find the site it is looking for. If I enter the URL: http://imail , it takes me to the resource monitor logon screen. Does anyone have any insight as to what is causing this and how I may resolve it. I appreciate any help with this very much. Much thanks in advance!
