Hi, I am installing Imail v6 on Tuesday, and i am a bit stuck allready!.
They have a T1 line out to the Net by BT. their
internal IP scheme is 10.10.10.* the outer IP of the
Pix firewall is 62.172.11.138.
I have got the MX record set to been SJCS.co.uk
62.172.11.138, then the ISP's Mailservers after so
that if the Imail server is down then mail is sent to
the ISP.
My question is the NT server is at the moment
10.10.10.100 so when i put imail on it it picks up the 10.10.10.100 address.
How do i tell it that it should be 62.172.11.13? - Do i need to do this? coz
the domain name is SJCS.co.uk This is my 4th Imail server but normally the
ip does not change i.e. outside address 193.132.78.100 = NT mail server, so
i am a bit confussed! on what to do.
