Somehow I doubt Windows 2000 in general is a valid reason here (Unless it is configured wrong).  How long of a delay are you referring to? I am also running multiple Windows 2000 Servers and it takes under 1 second to connect and start retrieving email.

What are you thinking?  Microsoft hasn't released service pack 5 for Windows 2000 Yet.  That means the operating system isn't complete.

I installed IMail 6.0 on WIndows NT 2000 with 256 Megs of Ram and a Dual P2 system.
When i check my mail it seems to take a couple of seconds to connect. Where my my current mail program takes no time.. Any Ideas??
