For the fields:

                MAXSIZE - integer
                MAXMSGS - integer
                FLAGS - integer
TYPE - integer

SQL7 give the option of 'int' which I assume is integer and length=4
precision=10 and allow nulls is checked (as is the default for the other
fields)

Are the defaults ok for these?

The ODBC link you're looking for is
http://home.att.net/~niceman/

The first nine fields in the table must be exactly as Imail
specifies. Then
you can add other fields after that. Be sure that the Imail
services start
under a user that has permissions to the table.

                USERID - varchar(31)
                PASSWORD - varchar(31)
                FULLNAME - varchar(63)
                USERDIR - varchar(255)
                MAILADDR - varchar(255)
                MAXSIZE - integer
                MAXMSGS - integer
                FLAGS - integer
                TYPE - integer

Could anyone who has had success using SQL7 comment on this?

I searched the knowledge-base looking for the most recent
info on using
SQL7 which is apparently still 'unsupported'.

-I know there was an issue where the dll would not reconnect
to the SQL
database if there was a loss of connectivity... is there a
more recent
version of the dll that overcomes this problem?

-I know with access I had problems getting imail to work in
a table that was
not created by it so I let imail create the table and then
added the other
fields I needed. Must I do this with SQL7?

Any formulas for success on this are appreciated... I'm
willing to Con$ult
                on this if need be...

                Thanks,
