In the last company i worked for we used VNC a lot, so we did't have to
leave the support room, then one day, an old memeber of staff, who new his
old IP address, VNC'd from his New work to our office and started poking
around, I know we should have changed the password on his VNC but, it was
one of those things that we never got round to :-(
VNC gave him access to files on that system, and areas on the network, Ok
all he could do was mail items out, and Delete stuff, But if it was on the
VNC was on the MAIL server it could have been worse.
We had a firewall etc, but VNC seems to get around it.

This is why i am a bit unsure.

Can you give me some background on this as I have VNC running on a number
of machines and have not seen this happen yet ?
