We have a number of NT based Voice Processing systems which we tested in house with VNC, NetOp and PCAnywhere. VNC had a MAJOR impact on the system. Pushing them to 80-90% util for extended periods while connecte. PCA and NetOp did not do this, in fact NetOp was the least invasive. What I have done is load both VNC and PCA on my mail servers. If I just need to make a quick change I'll use VNC, if it will be an extended stay or I need files I use PCA. I have used VNC to restart PCA on a couple of occasions of other NT boxes. gerry At 11:36 AM 4/14/00 -0400, Cal Frye wrote: >We have seen a bit of a network overload while using VNC, compared to >pcAnywhere (8.0).
