Instead of trickling these questions in, I figured I should go ahead and
post 'em all at once, and see who can tackle 'em. :c)
1. Do virtual domains *each* require thier own DB table (for external
datasource)?
2. If "NO" to above, does the USERID field contain the entire email address?
3. If "NO" to 1 and 2, how does Imail determine which user is for which
domain?
4. Are there any known issues with 6.x and a large number of vitual domains?
5. Has the problem involving dashes (-) in domains been resolved?
6. If "NO" to 5, does avoiding the use of the default tablename solve the
issue?
7. Are there any known performance issues (or others) with using SQL 7?
8. (off center a bit) Why doesn't Imail natively support SQL7? It is the
premier enterprise db solution for NT platforms. Are there internal
conflicts that may arise between Imail and SQL 7 (other than the
odbcuser.dll issue)?
9. Are there any other issues that I should be aware of before performing
this upgrade?
My apologies for so many questions.
Thank you in advance for anyone who can lend a hand here.
Chris Terrebonne
