If you go to Tools/Options/Send and uncheck the box for Send replies in the
format they were sent and make sure that plain text is checked below that
you should have no problems. All replies will then be in plain text even of
the original message was in HTML.

As for this worm, MS released a patch for this last summer. If people would
read the news (this did hit the headlines) and check for updates (Auto
update is free), this worm would have been stopped a long time ago.
