Do POP3 access and SMTP AUTH work from Outlook or Eudora clients?
If these don't work, then Imail is having pb's AUTHentifying against the
user accounts in SQL7. Need to make sure your SQL7 tables are set up
exactly as the doc says.
Also, Ipswitch does not support ODBC access to SQL7, so you should use this
Imail ODBC driver modified, by an Imail user, to work better and to work
with SQL7:

Easiest to try: stop/start SMTP service, stop/start Web msging service.
If that fails, then you very probably have a communication failure between
Imail and SQL7.
