Marvin,
You forgot to change the Subject: when you changed the topic.

Spend some time in the Imail logs and see if you have any funnies in there.
Sending list mail is technically the same as sending any other mail: an
Imail SMTP client process picks a list msg and tries to send it. Either
the Imail list server that spawns SMTP clients is screwey, or the SMTP
client processes are having pb's.
You may want to turn turn on SMTP:debugging to get more info in the logs,
but don't forget to turn it off, it does eat up log space. Unfortunately,
Imail's debugging info is not tied to a process id, so it's impossible on a
busy server with lotsa processes running to correlate debug info to the
process that producing the debug info. duh!!
Have you stop/start SMTP?
Have you tried rebooting the machine (aka "MS advanced research solution").
I don't know of any listserver-specific processes to stop/start or other
list server knobs to twiddle or buttons to push, but I'm still fat, dumb,
and happy back at 5.09.
Mebbe they've got some new list service knobs and buttons in 6.0+ ??
