I created the program to assist in our upgrade from 4.x to 6.x. It
basically extracts all users from every domain in the Imail registry and
creates fixed-width column text files for each domain. Each domain's text
file contains all the fields required by the 6.x database structure so it
may easily be imported into a db.
The fields returned are:
USERID, PASSWORD (decoded), FULLNAME, USERDIR, MAILADDR, MAXSIZE, MAXMSGS,
FLAGS, TYPE
You can pick up a copy here:
http://207.51.255.205/ExtractUsers.zip
Usage is included in the ReadMe.txt file.
I am updating the program so that extracted users can be placed directly
into a database. If the tables don't exist, they will be created for you.
Indexes will also be created (not sure why odbcuser.dll doesn't create
indexes).
If anyone is interested in this update, let me know and I will post it to
the list when it's complete.
Hope that answers your questions,
Chris Terrebonne
