I don't know of anything that you can do other than kill the account.
(This happens to us several time a year) The one other suggestion that I
can make is to create a rule for CoolPeople.net that sends any mail for
this account to the bit bucket. (Send it to "nul" in the rule) This will
save your server some work, and will eliminate return messages adding to
the spam on the Internet.
