Try taking a look at some of the files that have remained in the spool directory (not
the log files, but .SMD and other similar files). They shouldn't be there, so they
usually give clues as to what the problem is. For example, I had a bunch, and when I
looked at them the headers showed a mail loop. If you look at, say, a dozen of the
files in your spool directory, and most use the same "To: " address of a mailing list,
you have found your culprit.
