We are running IMail version 5.0 with approx 3,500 user accounts. I have two objectives as follows: - * Get the server upgraded to IMail version 6.0 * Set up an additional 6,000 user accounts. The system was installed by a colleague using the "External Database" option. There appears to be two .MDB Microsoft Access database files on the server. Db6.mdb and db7.mdb. I will be given the 6,000 new user names in a Comma Separated Values file so I can get this into Access 2000 format, but I can't see any info or discussions on importing to a external database. My questions are:- 1. Can I import these additional usernames into IMail 5.0 or 6.0 so that the new accounts are created along with the new user directories etc. leaving the existing 3,500 user accounts in place. If so, any pointers would be useful. All I can see in the version 5.0 menus is the option to import NT User accounts. I guess I could copy and paste the names into the MDB file (???), but then I suppose the directories wouldn't be created. Any info on how this can be done, the required field names, types and lengths plus any other useful info would be excellent. 2. Would it be better to upgrade to IMail 6.0 before running the import. Anything I need to be aware of before taking the plunge. Thanks in advance for any help on these matters. Chris Bailey Technical Support Specialist (Managed Services). Ultima Business Systems Ltd.
