Let's assume the Ipswitch's claim that "alias loops", addressing loops or whatever is causing some of the havoc of us are having. And let's not discuss whether IMail should be responsible for defensively policing idiotic aliases set up by befuddled users. So this means that Imail has a weaknesses the is effectively a DoS when a user, ignorantly or maliciously ( @ssholes who sign up to a free service to spam through it or DoS it), sets up a loop. The pb everybody has is that manually identifying alias loops if very time consuming and perhaps unreliable since see that a alias loop exists might not be very evident. For those of you, with ASP or PERL, who have gotten into the Imail internals, would it possible to write a utility that scanned all Imail accounts and checked for alias loops or other addressing/mailing loops?
