Was wondering if someone might be able to help me out here.
We are running an Imail server on an NT box. A customer with a qualified
domain name access about 35 email accounts on it via a permanent ISDN
connection.
The customer is doing something 'a little unique'. They have two people in
the office that have outlook 97 (maybe 2000) set up to check all 35 email
accounts every 15 minutes. After archiving and reading the email one of the
'gatekeepers' forwards a copy of the email to the appropriate person via
interoffice mail. (Please don't ask why they want to do things this
way....we tried to offer better solutions.)
The problem is, one of the 'gatekeepers' gets all the mail just fine, but
the other one is experiencing a delay in getting some of the mail.
Sometimes a piece of mail does not show up for a couple of days. I don't
understand why...and I don't know if it is a server problem or a client
problem. Mail settings on both clients have 'Leave mail on server for 5
days" turned on so there is not a problem with getting the mail...only a
problem with getting some of the mail on time.
Thank you in advance,
