This list seems like a god place to ask this question...

I'm having a rather strange DNS problem, and I was hoping someone on this
list might have some insight. The domain name is
"salvationarmy-goergia.org". Originally the primary DNS was hosted at our
colo facility. Two weeks ago I brought it in-house to my own nameserver
("ns.grizzardonline.com" running Windows2k DNS Server). Last week I added an
A record for "mail.salvationarmy-georgia.org" and a corresponding MX record.
The problem is the changes have not propagated properly. I've done MX
lookups on many name servers, and only about half of them have picked up the
changes (i.e.. they don't see the A record or the MX record, but they still
see the original "www" A record). What could this be? Other domain names on
this nameserver are not experiencing this problem.

I can't think of why some nameservers can get the changes and others cannot.
Yes I've changed the serial number and yes I've restarted the name server
several times.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
