Bryan,
As email moves through each mail server, the header gets larger (reverse
paths are added so the message can be return routed). Since pagers often
have limited message size, the growing header is taking up more space, so
you end up with no message body. Even forwarding in a single server will add
at least one line (maybe more).
If the a copy of the message is in your mailbox, you can look at the header
and you can see if it has the body. If all is well, then the above may be
your problem.
