It is my understanding that the users are contained in a text file that is
read whenever a message is sent to the list, the text file is read. I have
not stopped the services, and we have a list set up with all current users
that is updated just before sending out a broadcast type message. (thanks
everyone, for the help and support in guiding me to create this list) You
do not need to stop the services to make changes to users for lists or
actual users and addresses.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Question on Add, Moves, & Changes

I'm curious to know if I have to stop & restart POP3 and SMTP services
whenever I make changes like adding a new user to a list server? I know I
have to do this when I change SMTP Security settings and other documented
changes but I'm not quite sure about adding a user to a list server or
removing a user for that matter.

Any help on this is appreciated.
