Do your realize that 2 Imail peer servers have totally separate user 
account databases?

ah, syncrhonize user accounts between w2k and Linux?  An LDAP server could 
be a solution. I suppose Linux can work with LDAP, but I don't know whether 
W2K can.  MS is pushing their proprietary Active Directory, but I think AD 
might have a LDAP connection or AD can masquerade as LDAP server?  If don't 
get an answer here, better ask in a W2K list.

You'll have to ask the linux crowd about having Linux be a client to MS AD 
or participate in MS domains.

Somewhat related:  I've asked Ipswitch about Imail storing its user account 
on an external LDAP or radius server, but Ipswitch says they have no plans 
to support either of those.

I suppose you know about SAMBA that allows *nix boxes to participate in MS 
networking protocols? www.samba.org.
