Hi,
I probably missed the start of this thread so excuse me if this has already
suggested.
This sounds like a SQL server permissions problem. There are two ways to set
this up, first is to create a SQL user (i.e. not NT account) which is
included in the DSN field as described in the knowledge base, or the second
option (I prefer this) you have to change the user that the IMail services
run as and give that user sufficient privileges on the SQL database I am not
sure about the minimum required (anybody want to hazard a guess) but the
user at least has to be able create/delete table structure (the ddladmin /
datareader / datawriter roles seems to work well). For the later option it
does help if the servers are in the same domain or are at least trusted in
the correct manner.
Hope this helps

I have yet to get this working. If you do, please let me know how. The 20
minuite e-mail solution is now at day 5. My DSN is set up correctly and is
used by other apps, but for some reason IMail refuses to create user
accounts.

Yes, just set up the DSN to point to the appropriate machine.

Yes, ODBC administrative functions only work on a LAN.
