Does anyone know if there is any way to get rules to work ONLY for mail from EXTERNAL hosts. For example, I have a rule that filters messages with attachments and forwards them to a particular account. However, I'd like to be able to review these emails and attachments and once OK'd, forward them to the appropriate user. The problem is that if I do this, the trigger would get invoked again and send the email right back to me.

There's no need for you to forward it. Just use the Imail client to transfer the message to the recipient's mailbox.
