Its pretty sad that ipswitch's Imail software cannot be used with Visual Foxpro
databases. Since Foxpro is more than likely one of the most popular
programming databases in the US, its hard to believe that imail cannot use data
created by it. It seems that since foxpro's data fields are a fixed length
field that imail cannot trim the trailing spaces the fields.

After spending more than 2 weeks trying to get it to work because ipswitched
assured me that it would, now they tell me that it wont. Can anyone out there
re-write/repair the odbc dll file that ships with ipswitch so that it trims
away the trailing spaces in a field ? The database type is Visual Foxpro.

We have talked to Ipswitch's technical support and they have confirmed that it
will not work because of the trailing spaces in the fields. For example, if you
have a field defined at 50 character and you only enter a 10 character name,
Imail sees the other 40 characters as spaces and will not work.

Can anyone correct this DLL or write a new one ?

Thanks

Tom Utley
