Hi folks: THIS IS THE SITUATION: I have two virtual domains configured in IMAIL asides the default domain. Users of the default domain come from the NT domain user database. For the two virtual domains the user database is local. THIS IS THE PROBLEM: I need to authenticate users (both for the default domain and Virtual domains) when they connect to our network via dial up. We are using Cisco 2620 as NAS and have CiscoSecure running on an NT server authenticating users via TACACS. Authenticating users of the default domain is no problem because it is NT domain user database and we have confiugered CiscoSecure to authenticate against it. For virtual domains either I have to recreate user accounts on CiscoSecure ACS as local accounts and thus creating a situation where if the users keep two usernames and passwords (one for imail and one for NAS) or find two more NT boxes two put the imail accounts. But I would like to have to deal with only one user database be it in IMAIL or external to it. THIS IS MY THINKING: IMail creates DS entires to each user account in its built in LDAP server. CiscoSecure supports LDAP based authentication, why can't I useit for the users of the two virtual domains? I have tried this and still am trying. THESE ARE MY QUESTIONS: Has any of you out thre using this combination (Imail + CiscoSecure ACS) and would you be willing to give me a hand in getting this to work?
