I am looking for some advanced help on this one. Here is the problem:
We are a free ISP (www.homefreeweb.com) during our registration procedure we
capture many fields of information to our user database (MS SQL 7.0) one
field which we would like to use is the users other email account. Some of
our users don't have a "homefreeweb.com" email address and for
understandable reasons prefer to use the one which their friends, family and
contacts already have.
We would like to automatically set these users (50,000)up with a
"homefreeweb" mail account (hosted on our Imail Server) with forwarding
enabled to their existing accounts. I have looked at the "adduser.exe"
command line utility. It doesn't seem to have this functionality built into
it. We are also looking at the possibility which may require us to modify
the information in LDAP to accomplish this but are not sure where to begin.
We would appreciate any input you may have.
