The first thing I notice is that the secondary nameserver (ns2.nac.net) is not
answering authoritatively for your domain. Your ISP needs to fix that.

Your primary nameserver says that your mail servers are mail.zemog.com (primary) and
mail2.nac.net (secondary). mail.zemog.com points to 64.21.72.194, which is an IMail
server. mail2.nac.net points to 207.99.0.40, but should only be used if
mail.zemog.com is down.

If I were to try to send you an E-mail right now, it should go to the server at
64.21.72.194, which accepts mail for zemog.com. If that is the old server, then the
IP address needs to be changed in the DNS records. If that is the new server, that is
where mail should be going.

It is possible that your old DNS entries had a long TTL, which would mean that at many
DNS servers, the old entries would still be cached. The only way to be sure of that
would be either to connect to your old name servers (if they still have your domain in
them), or to find out what DNS servers people are using that can't send you mail.

Can you give us the domain? If so, we'll take a look at it. If not, keep
hounding away at your ISP to make sure the DNS is correct.

FYI, barrio.net's DNS records need to be fixed. They list 2 name servers
(geekworld.onsitenj.com and geekworld2.onsitenj.com), the second of which
isn't authoritative for barrio.net.

The MX record for barrio.net is mail.cmbsystems.net, which is an IMail
server.

Not much else we can say without knowing for sure what domain is and should
be which.

Hello Everyone,

We recently installed a new web & mail server which is being collocated in a
third party facility. The server is running NT 4 server with Service Pack 6
and Imail 6 (mail.domain.com). For some reason, we are unable to receive
email and some emails are being routed to the old server. We are able to
send mail and access the web messaging.

All DNS entries have been verified by the following parties:

Network Solutions: Since domain.com is being properly routed to our
collocation facility's domain servers, there is nothing more they can do in
their end.

Our collocation facility: They verified that all DNS and MX records were
configured properly and pointing to mail.domain.com.

Our old ISP: I asked them to forward any incoming emails to mail.domain.com

After everything was verified, we are still unable to receive email. As you
can imagine, email is a crucial part of our business and need to figure out
the problem ASAP. Any direction you guys can give us will be greatly
appreciated!

Thank you and have a great day,
Juan Gomez
