Jeff,

It's covered pretty well in the documentation... just enable SSL in
IMail's admin console (you can use the default port), stop and restart
web messaging, and just click the secure link on the webmail templates.
All communication within the domains on your server will be encrypted
and secure... just let your users know that if they send or receive mail
from domains outside your server, no such protection will follow.

Installing a secure cert so users won't get the cert warning is a little
more involved... we haven't attempted that yet. I'd be interested in
hearing others' experience with that.
