Michael,
Dan is fine! No need to be so formal!
Loops can have several possible causes so it is hard to say what might be
happening. If you send, say the 4th message header here, that would tell us
a lot. Also the Log file (assuming you have SMTP set to Debug) from that
time, can tell us more.
If the Lists files were bad, that might make the message come multiple
times, but without the header/trailer, which you say is added each time
(proving it must be going through the List Server, see the trailers on these
messages!). If you want to be sure, rename the user.lst and user.txt files
and create new ones with only one address in each. If that does have an
effect, then time to check the files contents and addresses of all
subscribers (If they had an autoresponder, that could generate this kind of
response, but I would expect some of the message content to change, too).
