You could create a "program" alias, that you would forward the message
to while leaving a copy in the common box. The program alias would be a
small executable that would send a message to a specified group of users
notifying them, sans graphic. I think you could make it work with the
imail1.exe utility.

If you'd like us to build it for you, let me know.
