That's not true.  I use IIS SMTP listening on port 2525 with no problems on
my IMail box, and use CDONTS all the time.

Our solution was to buy aspmail at http://www,serverobjects.com for 49.00
If i recall correctly, IIS SMTP insists on port 25.
There is no work around.
aspmail works very well and is very similar to cdonts.
