I think (never noticed this before...) it's since I just installed Imail
6.04 update:
every message coming from Imail 6.04 shows a 'Sender:' in the header, and
this is in the form '[EMAIL PROTECTED]'
I never want the complete machine-name to be shown !!!
People start sending mail to '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' in
stead of to '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' then !!!!!!!!!!!!
And I want to be free to move services arround and choose whatever
machinename I want.
The reply-address is correct.
How can I get rid of this "Sender:' ????????,
Am I (again...) the only one ?
P.S. And am I correct to observe that the 'X-recipient:' seems to be
(finally ;-) gone ? It's still in the code however ;-)
I ask this because "I fiddle arround with every version of smtp32.exe to
get rid of it". So I did now too... Because it causes nothing but trouble
(with CC's). So, since I already 'patched' (I know, I should
reverse-engeneer, but I need to and Ips. never wanted, until now ?) can
anyone tell me if it's realy gone...
I'm not willing to try with the original smtp32.exe... Our customers don't
receive CC's correctly then. If the X-recipient is still there.
(Djeez, I was never going to reveil this secret...)
