Been watching two 6.04 servers all day writing output live to the console. Comments: (1) netstat shows only ONE smtp process in use (2) Queues for outbound mail are now running between 650 to 1200 files ... normal average is 50 .... mail is backing up for hours (3) Why is there only one process open? (4) It seems that Imail 6.04 is getting bogged down on about 20 non-deliverable messages, basically retrying the queue and nothing else. Without having to reinstall the whole system, anyway I can get back to 6.03 which ran smoothly?
