Hi all,
I have spoken with IPSwitch tech support, and have
asked a few questions. There response was unsatisfactory, so I turn to all of
you for an answer.
We host a couple websites, and we need to automate
the process of setting accounts up on our Imail server. The command line utils
that are available from IPSwitch are severly lacking for our needs.
IPSwitch plans on releasing the API Specs on Imail
sometime after X-Mas. This is WAY TO LATE... as I am sure it is for others
also.
I know there are plently other hosting companies
that use Imail, however I know that they have developed a system to set these
accounts up without having to sit at the "Imail Administrator" all day
long.
I am looking for some more functionality... I need
to be able to add domains, and set specific options for each. I need to add
users, and set whether they are an Imail Server Admin, an Admin for that domain,
or even a list administrator. I can't do this all by hand, as it is way to
tedious. (Kinda breaks the automation process we currently have in place using
sendmail)
Does anyone have any advice? API SPECS??? :-), or
scripts that may do what I am looking to do.
Even If I use a database, a lot of the "hand work"
has to be done through Imail Administrator when it could be done through
automated means.
Please let me know, you guys are my only
hope.
Thanks,
./Matt Shine
