Give me a URL and test account off-list, and I'll check things out for you. Keep in mind our templates use a stylesheet (stylesheet.cgi), which overrides local <font> tags in many browsers. IMail's web server has nothing to do with font color.

The attachment problem hasn't been reported by anyone else, so I would suspect an alteration of our code somewhere, or perhaps you've got the "exclamation point bug". I'll check it out when you send me the login info.

Thanks,
Ron

Subject: [imail] message text color and attachment problems

I am trying to modify the color of the text of the message by placing a <FONT> before the call the the IMAIL web server tag that displays the message. It seems as though it is IMail's Web server that send the text color definition. Has anyone found a way of changing this?

##THIS HAS NO EFFECT ON THE OUTPUT##  <font face="Monaco, Courier New, Monospace" color=yellow size=2>
        <!--IMAIL.MailMessageWithoutHeader-->

##THIS HAS NO EFFECT ON THE OUTPUT##   </font>

Also, when trying to attach a file to an outgoing message using Humankinds's templates, after browsing for a file, i press the "<<-Attach" button to add the file to the attachment's list. However the browser just comes up with an error message of "cannot display page". If i use a proxy server i get this error from the proxy: "

While trying to retrieve the URL: [no URL]

The following error was encountered:

  • Zero Sized Reply

Squid did not receive any data for this request. "

If i use a set of Imail's original v6 templates the error does not occur.

any ideas?'
